Give it môquiridu! And there dear! How is your tour of Floripa?

Here at Avenida Beira-mar Norte you will have a sample of the daily life of the manezinho, who is a native of Floripa.

The 7 km long avenue is a symbol of status and also of democracy. Two large landfills - in the 1960s and 1980s, expanded the lanes and gave the avenue practically the same face as it has today.

But the glamor comes from before: until the beginning of the 20th century, the old country houses were located here, which were the sites of the most powerful and wealthy families on the island.

Some of those houses are still there. At the time the region was known as Praia de Fora. Today, the movement of vehicles is intense and the approximately 100 buildings have one of the most expensive square meters in Florianópolis.

MEMOIRS

Here you also find some memories. Near the helipad, at the exit of Av. Mauro Ramos, there is an obelisk in honor of the city's founder, Francisco Dias Velho. And it's hard to disagree with the author:

Very close, where there is now a shopping mall, there was the first football stadium in the city, Adolfo Konder, which was known as Pasto do Bode. Avaí and Figueirense, the two football clubs from Florianópolis, faced each other there for the first time almost a hundred years ago.

Speaking of sport, the seaside is the perfect stage for it. Enjoy the free use of the sand courts, or also train at one of the stations. Thousands of residents play sports here every day. Some marathons also have a start from Beira-Mar.

In the water, especially in the morning, athletes from secular rowing clubs do their training.

Closer to the warehouse it is possible to rent bicycles. And the last tip is to take that unforgettable photo with the Floripa sign created by Luciano Martins, a local artist.

If your tour is for the end of the day, the chance of an unforgettable sunset is great! If I were you, I would start warming up for a walk!
