Lagoa do Paraíso

The immensity with unbelievable shades of blue and green has everything to leave your mouth open for long moments. The good part is that you will have plenty of time to enjoy one of the most popular tours in Jijoca, within the Route of Emotions.

Who looks, doesn't seem to see the end. The perimeter is 57 km. With so much area, the environmental details appear little by little. The region is a biological refuge and, therefore, is within the Environmental Preservation Area (APA) of Lagoa de Jijoca.

The Jijoca Lagoon is formed by the Paraguay and Mourão streams. This happened naturally, with the migration of the moving dunes of the coastal plain.

The average depth ranges from 4 to 6 meters. But for that it would be necessary to walk a good part, which is not recommended.

DISPUTE NETWORKS

In the fresh, warm and crystal clear water, the tucum nets are played to relax and especially to make enviable and instagrammable images. The temperature of the water and the fact that it is not salty makes many people prefer the lagoons instead of the sea.

The tourist structure followed the fame that arrived here. It has trendy and popular bars for very different tastes and styles. Probably, the guides will take you in the most trendy and photographed. It is the place to see and be seen.

But be sure to ask about similar options with cheaper menus.

In any of them, enjoy and make a toast to Jijoca. If the name of the village comes from the union of the names of two indigenous people - Ji and Joca - celebrate here the unforgettable meeting of the water with the dunes.
