Museu de Porcelana

You have arrived at the Porcelain Museum! Our museum encompasses a collection of delicacies, which are porcelain pieces representing a world of beauty and small fragments of dreams that are being forgotten by modern life. Therefore, places like these that exhibit all these small repositories of other lives are so important.

Our museum brings together a collection of 1800 porcelain pieces from the 19th and 20th centuries. The majority are of German origin, but also include pieces from Italy, Denmark, France, and other European locations. The collection belongs to a single collector who, over 20 years, has been acquiring these pieces through auctions, antique shops, and travels. The style of the pieces is Art Nouveau and Art Deco.

Most of the pieces are manufactured by Rosenthal, Hustchenreuther, Kar Ens, and Meissen.

You will notice that the motifs on these beautiful and delicate pieces are quite diverse, representing animals, flowers, and other intriguing subjects.
